Where did my settings changes go?

Hi -

I was reviewing the settings on the www-site and saved changes as outlined in an email yesterday.

Why were these changes erased or reverted?

Regards,
Dave

For the record, I just spent 20 minutes "ignoring" the bylaws section of the www-site clc scan. Every one of them was one of:

2002 bylaws (obsolete)
2021 changes e.g. s/he/they/
2021 bylaws Amendment II (highlighting differences made explicitly for the purpose of diversity)

I hope I do not need to do this again.

Yeah, so I'm not sure which one(s) of those would need to be the voice
of opting in, and I would hate for that to paralyze any such effort.

Also, I anticipate that www-site will have a lot of unavoidable false
positives, but we can exclude entire directories (like, say, board
minutes?) with a regex to fix a lot of those.

Mostly Press, but also Security, Legal, Brand, and the Board. All members have write access and can make changes.

Here, would be the appropriate place. However, now that this has become
complicated, I'm not at all sure what process we should have in place to
manage that. After all, who speaks for www-site?

(1) I made settings changes to www-site yesterday afternoon.

(2) I don’t see any emails from David Nalley in the operations@ thread. Did you mean the Greg, the Infra Administrator?

If a project wanted to opt-in do we do it on this list or operations?

Because VP Infra asked me to do so, on the operations list.
