0.9.3 timescales
Hi,
We're planning our work in the next couple of months, and there are several bugfixes & features in the storm trunk that we depend on. Can I get an idea on rough timescales for a 0.9.3 release?
Thanks,
SimonC

I will kick off a DISCUSS thread for the 0.9.3 release shortly. This will not depend on graduation. I would actually like to get at least one release out before graduation since there will be a bunch of infrastructure changes post-graduation.
In terms of graduation timelines, there are three main steps:
PPMC vote for graduation (currently underway, open for at least 72 hours starting yesterday)
IPMC vote for graduation (follows PPMC vote, open for at least 72 hours)
ASF board meeting vote on the graduation resolution.
The ASF board only meets once a month on the third Wednesday. If (and it’s a big if) we sail through the IPMC vote, then there may be a chance to get the resolution in front of the board for the August meeting. Otherwise we have to wait for September. My guess is that we’ll be waiting for September.

I don't know the official plans, but I would expect a release soon after
graduating incubation, which is being voted for now -- this would make the
first "official" non-incubating release.
I don't know how long the graduation process takes after the pending vote.
There would then have to obviously be the normal release process, which
takes some time as well.
