[jira] [Created] (PROTON-198) Pkg config file installed in the wrong location on FreeBSD

Andrew Stitcher created PROTON-198:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Pkg config file installed in the wrong location on FreeBSD
                 Key: PROTON-198
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-198
             Project: Qpid Proton
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: proton-c
    Affects Versions: 0.3
         Environment: FreeBSD
            Reporter: Andrew Stitcher

make install puts the libqpid-proton.pc file in the wrong location for the platform:
In /usr/local/<libdir>/pkgconfig. This platform has a seperate /usr/local/libdata directory for stuff like this.

This wouldn't be so bad if it could be configured, but currently the pkgconfig directory is hardcoded to be related to the libdir.
