[jira] [Created] (EAGLE-1045) remove scala-tools.release repo as it causes build issue and not useful now

Edward Zhang created EAGLE-1045:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: remove scala-tools.release repo as it causes build issue and not useful now
                 Key: EAGLE-1045
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/EAGLE-1045
             Project: Eagle
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Core::Alert Engine
            Reporter: Edward Zhang
            Assignee: Edward Zhang
            Priority: Trivial

When I download latest eagle and build with the following exception, please advise how to solve this issue

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-remote-resources-plugin:1.5:process (default) on project eagle-data-process: Error resolving project artifact: Could not transfer artifact hiccup:hiccup:pom:0.3.6 from/to scale-tools.release (http://scala-tools.org/repo-releases): sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target for project hiccup:hiccup:jar:0.3.6 -> [Help 1]

When I remove repository “scala-tools.release” from pom.xml, the build can pass.

In my local box, http://scala-tools.org/repo-releases is redirected to https://blog.goodstuff.im/repo-releases. Seems something is wrong with this repo
