   The CI failures are unrelated to this change:
   
   1. **TestRPC.testNumInProcessHandlerMetrics** - Pre-existing flaky test; consistently fails with `expected: <0> but was: <1>` (race condition in handler metrics).
   2. **hadoop-yarn-ui bower install (Java 25 build)** - Infrastructure issue; `bower install` fails with HTTP 401 when fetching DataTables from GitHub. Unrelated to this PR.
   
   @steveloughran could you please review this when you get a chance, or help me find a maintainer who can?
