There are known problems when using a Subversion working copy on a network drive. You should use a local drive for Subversion working copies.

Not everyone has that option, whether because their work systems
demand that all work be done on a network drive for backup reasons, or
because local filesystems may not be large enough for a Subversion
working copy full of bulky binaries.
