[jira] [Resolved] (CASSANDRA-6265) Bootstrapping nodes streams from other DC

Jonathan Ellis resolved CASSANDRA-6265.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Duplicate

CASSANDRA-2434 would force it to pick the replaced [v]node as the one to stream from, which would keep it in the same DC by definition.

> I'm bootstrapping new nodes, one at a time, into my 1.2.6 cluster with vnodes on all nodes.
> I can see from netstat the bootstrap is crossing DC lines. I used the RackInferringSnitch with 2 datacenters defined (6 octet and 12 octet)
