Tomcat can not find class.
After removing the spaces from the TOMCAT_HOME, at least now I am now
getting a cocoon screen in the browser window.
If I look with windows explorer, the missing file
BypassableAccessController.class does seem to be in the right place
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat
5.5\webapps\lenya\WEB-INF\classes\org\apache\lenya\ac\impl
Any idea about what I have missed?
The clean build in Eclipse takes 15 minutes and another 4-5 to copy the
files over. Wow!!! At lot of code built into this.

I am not sure that it will run any faster from the command line. It is
building and moving over 8700 files (or so it says)
If I do not run a "clean" task it is a lot quicker.
Once I get it functioning I might try Ant both ways to see what Eclipse
adds in overhead.

hmm. this is why i
* use ant from the command line, even though i have eclipse set up to
autocompile (clean build is approx 50s)
* do not bother with tomcat so i dont incur this huge copying cost

Hi,
I remember reading something a few months back that bad things can happen if you
install and run tomcat on Windows in a directory that has spaces in the name.
Maybe this could be causing your problem? Since then I've always overridden the
default install path to something like c:\apache\tomcat5
-mm
