[jira] Resolved: (AXIS2-3834) Multiple port types not recongnized by wsdl2java

Amila Chinthaka Suriarachchi resolved AXIS2-3834.
-------------------------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

By design Axis2 Service can not support multiple port types. Hence it can not be fixed in the code generation.

However you can create a service per each port type in your wsdl and generates the code. that with generate code for each port type stub.

> Project: Axis2
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: codegen
> Affects Versions: 1.4
> Environment: Windows XP , JDK1.5

> We have a WSDL that has multiple port types defined. Each port type having one port name.
> Now we are trying to use wsdl2java at command prompt to generate the stub with default databinding
> The code gets generated with no errors. We could compile into jar file. But all the port types were not available in stub code.
> How do we get all port types in stub? When we used the old version of Axis ( Axis 1.4 not Axis 2 1.4) through the WebSphere tool code generattor we could see all the port types. Looks like old Axis could generate whereas the new Axis2 fails to do so.
> Is this a bug? Is there a workaround ?
