[xdocs] -element has gone

Hello,

since 2004-01-06, the <glossary>-element has been silently removed. I'm
currently doing some work to write a JavaHelp plugin, which should use
xdocs (so one wouldn't need to duplicate documentation). I've got an old
version of site.jsl (a customized version) containing the element and
I've been happy to see, that it contains <glossary>-elements. Could You
please tell me the reason for removing this element? And what would I
get from the xdocs-plugin, if I use it now: the text contained in the
element or simply nothing (whole element ignored)? The last (to get
nothing) would be preferable, because it wouldn't have any impact on
compatibility with files.

Kind regards

Peter Nabbefeld

Posted by Brett Porter <br...@gmail.com>.
I noticed it had been left out of the new plugin, but didn't know if
it should be added back again. I think a few such tags were removed on
purpose.

I assume it just gets left as is in the output, which might be a
problem in XHTML.

I'll find out if the removal was intentional.
