Logging too verbose when used with Log4J

This is just the startup babble, and would come out for any logging 
system. (Velocity has no clue what the logging implementation is...)

I think we should keep the startup stream as it helps us find problems 
when people report them - the can't have accidentally turned this stuff off.

Does that change your pov?
