exception while login to new publication

Hi,
I have a publication named myguide, whenever i click on the publication to login as editor it throws off the error

org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: Unable to get transformer handler for cocoon://lenya-page/myguide/authoring/tutorial.xml?doctype=xhtml: org.apache.excalibur.xml.xslt.XSLTProcessorException: Exception in creating Transform Handler

cause: java.lang.NullPointerException

kindly advice what's the solution to this
