reiser4, and storing attributes instead of using many files

hi!

would it be possible to store the attributes currently stored in
files as file attributes in reiser4?

would there be any gains of this (as the attributes are anyway
files)?

if there is gains, where would you change the code to implement this?

mc ....

while this might be possible, it would be /completely/ unportable, and
as such has very little chance of making it in to subversion.

if this could be done, it would probably require fairly substantial
changes to libsvn_wc, so that's where you should look if you want to
try.
