Re: [DISCUSS] 2.5.1 Bug Fix Release

Hello, all,

Thanks for you patience. KAFKA-10134 was the last blocker for
2.5.1, and it has been resolved. In fact, there are currently no
open bugs at all for 2.5.1.

I will be proceeding to cut 2.5.1 RC0 tomorrow, and I'll send an
announcement email when it is ready.

Thanks,
-John

Hello all,

Sorry again for the delay. While completing the RC, I found and had
to fix a broken system test. However, I've just created the vote thread
for 2.5.1 RC0! Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.

Thanks,
-John

Re: [DISCUSS] 2.5.1 Bug Fix Release

Posted by John Roesler <vv...@apache.org>.
Hello again, all,

Just in case you were waiting for the RC, I wanted to give a quick
update. I got hung up in the first-time setup for cutting a release
and wasn't able to finish it last Friday. I'm getting ready to record a talk
for Kafka Summit tomorrow, after which I'll be able to pick up the RC
again. I'll send another update when it's ready.

Apologies for the delay.

Thanks,
-John
