The last example ought to throw an error because there are more columns in the
'value X' than in the 'known X' parameters, shouldn't it?

FORECAST needs that Data_X and Data_Y have the same size. That is not the case
in FORECAST(C2:I2;B3:B8;C3:J8)
In case FORECAST(C2:I2;B3:B8;C3:C8) the formula is treated as if you have used
FORECAST(C2;B3:B8;C3:C8) and FORECAST(D2;B3:B8;C3:C8) and
FORECAST(E2;B3:B8;C3:C8) and so on. That is the same kind as using for example
=B38:F38*A39 as matrix formula.
Please discuss such problems on the user mailing list or in the forum before
writing an issue.
