[Newbie] custom properties

Hey all,

I would like to add a custom property to a resource: I do it with the
revisionDescriptor.setProperty() method, (in the PutMethod class).

It works fine; but now, I would like to filter content with this
specific property. 

I guess i have to do it in the PROPFIND method... But I'm unable to
retrieve this specific property, and I don't know how to filter the
server response...

In a broader perspective, I would like to know the right way to use
custom properties.
