   > Hi, @tillrohrmann , IMO, I think we do not need to adapt `flink-console.sh`, because it's running fore-ground, and in console mode, users usually focused on the console output and it's usually used for testing. Users can be more flexible to add those or more options whenever they want. What do you think?
   
   I think `flink-console.sh` is currently being used by Flink's docker image's `entrypoint.sh`. That's why I was wondering whether we want to add the heap dump and GC logging to it as well.
