NiFi metrics over JMX!!!

Dear All
              NiFi has provided nice set of APIs and reporting tasks to expose various metrics.
                Do we have any plan to export the basic metrics over JMX as well , now most of the Big data related open sources like HDFS/Yarn/Spark/Flume etc.  expose metrics via JMX.
