[Bug 4169] New: Anonymous bugzilla bug submission

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4169

           Summary: Anonymous bugzilla bug submission
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: Tools
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: scrosby@cs.rice.edu

It would be nice to have anonymous bugzilla submission. That way if someone has
a quick patch or a quick rule, they can just submit it directly --- rather than
have to create --- and keep track of --- a bugzilla account when its only a
small contribution.

For a regular contributor, its worth it. For someone like myself, its not
something I've done yet. This means that the few things I have done have gotten
lost, not being in bugzilla.

------- Additional Comments From quinlan@pathname.com 2005-03-03 21:42 -------
We really need to be able to contact people filing bugs. We have more
bugs than time already, encouraging one-way bugs is just not an idea I
want to explore.
