Er, but I had already set them. (You used a slightly different set, I
think, but I used the same set as libsvn_ra and clients/cmdline,
modified appropriately.) What was the problem?

Well, I can confirm there were svn:ignore props on those directories
(well, I only checked svnserve) in rev 3964. And sussman had the
properties set on his pre-3968 tree. So you might look for a bug in
your client's update-editor's add_directory.

Hmm... I was up-to-date, and when I ran `svn pedit` on the
directories, EDITOR came up empty. So I changed them. I was seeing
the '.libs' directories and the generated 'svnserve' binary in 'svn
st' output.
