job_sandbox information and configuration !

Hi,

Where can I find some information on the job_sandbox configurations and details?
I guess when we call a service asynchronously it first store the service details into sandbox so that on failure it keeps trying again.

So where I find this configuration of retry , and after what time should it retry?
