SOAP request with Cocoon

Hi all,

I was wondering how to use Cocoon to do SOAP request (calling web services
with Cocoon)?

I found this thread
(http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=109085126300004&r=1&w=2) in the mailing
list archive talking about extending the SourceWritingTransformer, but I
don't know if the submitted patch will be available in the next release of
Cocoon...
