[jira] [Commented] (BATIK-979) Text on path - incorrect alignment
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BATIK-979?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14300783#comment-14300783 ]
Luis Bernardo commented on BATIK-979:
-------------------------------------
Nice example, that is throwing off not only Batik but also Chrome and Safari. I simple workaround is to put the two textPath elements for December in two text elements. Then the output is correct.

> Create path and place text on it close to its begin/end with the text-anchor attribute set to 'middle' and startOffset outside the range 0-100%.
> Current result: Text is not centered according to its specified startOffset value.
> Expected results: Text is rendered correctly (like Firefox 4 beta, Opera).
> A testcase is attached.
