hello
Hey all,
I'd have been here sooner, but I've been on holiday from source control.
I was the Version Control Systems Architect at Metrowerks (now a
Motorola company). I was responsible for the Macintosh version of
SourceSafe. That makes me one of four people to have seen the
internals of that particular piece of Microsoft code and lived. I
designed the VCS interface to CodeWarrior, coordinated with all the
external VCS providers in IDE plug-in creation. And made the CVS
plug-ins for the Macintosh and Windows that never got released. That
was a bit ago.
Since then, I've designed a distributed, client-server based image
scaling system (Windows/Linux). That company didn't make it. Most
recently, I've been a researcher for a wireless middleware company.
I've been researching cross-platform C/C++ development and VoiceXML.
The VoiceXML is cool. Now I can send annoying email to people over
the phone using my own code.
I'm not sure what amount of time I'll be able to contribute. Since my
current company runs out of money at the end of next week, I might
have lots of free time.
With what time I do have, I'll try to beat the hell out of the thing;
code and design.
For more boring details of my background, feel free to browse my
resume <http://www.noncorporeal.com/people/pathfinder/resume.html>.
