[jira] [Created] (MESOS-268) Slave should force kill executors when
it is shutting down
Vinod Kone created MESOS-268:
--------------------------------
Summary: Slave should force kill executors when it is shutting down
Key: MESOS-268
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-268
Project: Mesos
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Vinod Kone
Currently, when a slave is shutting down, it tries to do a graceful shutdown (shutdown message followed by a force kill after timeout) of the executors. But this might not work, if the slave process exits before the shutdown message is delivered.

Vinod Kone resolved MESOS-268.
------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
on second thought, this is not needed because the executor driver shuts down when it notices that slave is down.
