[jira] [Commented] (CB-2439) Screen rotation does not resize web
view
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2439?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13578616#comment-13578616 ]
Andreas Sommer commented on CB-2439:
------------------------------------
And I even just found the solution: In index.html, removing "height=device-height" from the <meta name="viewport" ...> will trigger the web view to be resized correctly! I don't know why, but that's how it is.

> Key: CB-2439
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2439
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: iOS
> Affects Versions: 2.4.0
> Reporter: Andreas Sommer
> Assignee: Shazron Abdullah
> Priority: Blocker
>
> - Create a new project with bin/create
> - In "Summary" tab, enable all interface orientations
> - Start in simulator or on device
> - Rotate device or simulator (press Apple+Right)
> => Web view looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/450Cfu9.png
> Tried with iOS 5, iOS 6, iOS 6.1 on iPhone 3GS and simulator. I think this was already in 2.3.0 and is a killer for any iOS app.
