[jira] Created: (QPID-665) Remove 0-8 vestiges from C++ broker &
client
Remove 0-8 vestiges from C++ broker & client
--------------------------------------------
Key: QPID-665
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-665
Project: Qpid
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: C++ Broker, C++ Client
Reporter: Alan Conway
The C++ broker still has vestiges of 0-8 channel and Basic message, the client has an old 0-8 channel based API. Since neither broker nor client actually supports the 0-8 protocol anymore, these are dead weight that should be removed.
Several test still use the old channel API, they should be converted to the new 0-10 session API or the proposed high-level API of QPID-664 when that is
