Getting follwing exception when trying to create a worksheet using POI 3.5
beta6 version at Sheet.java line number : 241 (2nd exception).
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: two Page Settings Blocks
found in the same sheet
at org.apache.poi.hssf.model.Sheet.<init>(Sheet.java:241)
at org.apache.poi.hssf.model.Sheet.createSheet(Sheet.java:160)
at org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel.HSSFWorkbook.<init>(HSSFWorkbook.java:288)
at org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel.HSSFWorkbook.<init>(HSSFWorkbook.java:202)
at org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel.HSSFWorkbook.<init>(HSSFWorkbook.java:184)
Please let me know the reason for this exception. Also try to resolve that if
possible,

I am getting this error when opening an xls file on Windows (Windows 7).
On Linux/Unix everything work fine.
my Code:
InputStream in = new FileInputStream(xlsFile);
POIFSFileSystem fs = new POIFSFileSystem(in);
HSSFWorkbook wb = new HSSFWorkbook(fs);
The Exception:

Various duplicate page settings bugs have been fixed recently in poi, so I'm
assuming from the lack of recent comments on the bug that this has fixed it for
you.
If the bug still exists with the latest version of POI, please re-open the bug
and add a comment indicating this, ideally also with a failing unit test

ups. we got a power failure - so i reposted my last comment accendently.
i tried it with the current 3.8 beta release and nothing changed.

Yes, you are right.
I was wronlgy testing with 3.5 because there are too many projects in my
Eclipse setting the classpath.
Now it works with 3.7 and 3.8beta3

Sounds like you have an older copy of POI on windows
If the problem still remains on 3.8 beta 3, please upload a failing unit test.
