ArrayList or Hashmap returning Webservice

Hi,

 Can anyone provide me some tutorial on how we can return ArrayList or HashMap in a webservice? Is it possible?

The best way is to convert into Json format string.    In the other
receiver, you can use json api to convert back to array list or hashMap.
