Still have not found an explanation for the reported behavior - but then again I am not running OSX - all my tests on _Linux_ (_Ubuntu_, _Fedora_) and _Windows_ (8.1, 10) yield no problems. Perhaps this is something specific to OSX or to the setup of your host.
