Medium term goals
Hello,
I've been using subversion for about a year and I want to extend my
appreciation to the developers, it has been working very well and I find
it very robust. I was looking at the road map and would like to know if
"improved rename support" and "Merge tracking" have been scheduled. If
so I would like to extend and offer to alpha/beta test these features.

When they're done ;-)
Seriously, both projects are too early in their lifecycles to even speculate.
People are writing code now though, so it's further along than it was
before we started coding.

If you're interested in tracking the development that's going on, feel
free to subscribe to the dev mailing list. As for those particular
features, neither has produced anything that you could really test as
of yet.
