DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50144] New: Found a couple of memory leaks in APR
when running an application that uses CMS
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50144
Summary: Found a couple of memory leaks in APR when running an
application that uses CMS
Product: APR
Version: HEAD
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: APR
AssignedTo: bugs@apr.apache.org
ReportedBy: huanghehe@yahoo.com
We found a couple of memory leaks in APR when running an application that uses
CMS. Our environment:
apr 1.4.2, apr-util 1.3.9, apr iconv 1.2.1, Windows xp service pack 3, ActiveMQ
broker 5.3.1, ActiveMQcpp 3.2.3,
Attached please find an error report that we got from Devpartner error
detection (please search for libapr-1.dll to find the leaks related to apr). I
am also attaching a screenshot.
I am wondering if you can please fix them in the 1.4.2 branch. Thanks a lot for
your help!
Helen

There's no information in that screenshot that would indicate a leak: it looks
more likely to be your tool reporting expected pool behaviour.
If you have more information that leads you to suppose there's a leak, please
tell us, either here or by posting to the dev list.

Just found out the error report in xml is too large to attach. I think we can
skip it because the screenshot should have the same informtion. Thanks!
