Difference between "createResource" and "storeResource" in XML:DB API

Hi


I would like to know the difference between "createResource" and
"storeResource" in XML:DB API .

1. Does"createResource" already associate the resource to the collection ?

2.a. If yes, what is the utility of "storeResource" ? to commit the
resource creation ?
2.b. If no, It is "storeResource" that associate the resource to the
collection ?
