new publication
HI,
I am very new to Lenya. I tried install Lenya-1.4 and it works when I test:
http://localhost:8888/index.html
However,I tried to new publication by clicking on the new publication button in
the main page, it says:
The configuration file
[C:srclenya-1.4buildlenyawebapplenyapubsontoxplconfigpublication.xconf] does
not exist!
org.apache.avalon.framework.CascadingRuntimeException:
"file:/C:/src/lenya-1.4/build/lenya/webapp/lenya/usecases/usecases.js", line
89: uncaught JavaScript exception: at executeUsecase
(file:/C:/src/lenya-1.4/build/lenya/webapp/lenya/usecases/usecases.js, Line
89): java.lang.RuntimeException: The configuration file
[C:srclenya-1.4buildlenyawebapplenyapubsontoxplconfigpublication.xconf] does
not exist!
I wonder whether I should create the publication.xconf myself ?
I read the article about how to create a new publication

But that is for lenya-1.2. It's claimed that using lenya 1.4 it can provide the
function for creating new publication, but I can't get it work. Could anyone
help me?

Thanks, I am woring on winXP. I solved the problem by copy the publication.xconf
and doctypes.xconf to the new publication dir.
However I encouter another problem. When I tried to new document within the
site, I entered the name (i.e. Document ID= test, Nagivation Title=Test) then
under my new-pub dir : %new_pub%\content\rcml\content\authoting\index it
creates a folder call "test" and under it, it creates a new file
index_en.xml.rcml which the contend is as followed:

<CheckOut>
<Identity>lenya</Identity>
<Time>1129143175015</Time>
</CheckOut>
<CheckIn>
<Identity>System</Identity>

and meanwhile, there is error message display my new publication:
Premature end of file.

Does anyone have idea what is happening?

Can you reproduce this problem on the demo site:

I just cleaned and rebuilt cocoon-2.1.x and lenya-trunk from svn for the
1.4 demo.

What OS are you using? Looks like a file separator problem. I can't
reproduce on winXP.
