Re: Please help: Weblogic/Xerces problem

Hi Scott,

Xerces does not require the presence of a webserver; there's no webserver
on my machine and it works happily. So the question becomes what is it
about your configuration file that makes Xerces want a a webserver?
Perhaps it would help if you could post at least the relevant sections of
this file.

Cheers,
Neil

Subject: Please help: Weblogic/Xerces problem

I am using Xerces to parse an XML configuration file as Weblogic is
starting. When Xerces does the parse, it tries to open a connection to my
web server, however, the web server has not started yet so the connection
fails and and naturally, the file doesn't get parsed. I have turned off
all
Xerces properties and features, but it is still happening. Does anyone
know
how to remedy this, or does Xerces just require a web server?
