time dimension of container

I want to add a time dimension in the container request indicating how long
the application master want to hold the container.

Which part of the code or protocol do I need to modify?

Thanks~

hi, Vinod:

Holding the containers means the application reserves a container(e.g., 2GB
RAM, 1 CPU) for one hour(e.g., from 3pm to 4pm).

It will be interesting but what is the use case? You want to have time
expiry on the container issued? something related to container/resource
leases?
