Can Jmeter execute a server side java script

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to setup a load test on a web based ERP application that includes server side java scripts.
Can anyone tell me if and how jmeter can execute a java script.
The java script would not be located on the same machine that is running jmeter, it is on the ERP application web server.
