[C2] Caching of aggregated content
Hi Everybody,
Is there a plans to implement caching for aggregated content?
Right now, cocoon.sitemap.ContentAggregator returns 0 as a key and null as CacheValidity.

As Carsten is off until Monday I'll apply your patch and try to test it
(hopefully cvs on dev.apache.org is going up soon)

Thanks Vadim. I think I'll leave this to Carsten which is much more
familiar with the cache code as I am :)

[Patch][C2] Caching of aggregated content
Posted by Vadim Gritsenko <vg...@hns.com>.
Giacomo,
Here is first try to make it work. Seems like working. It may be not perfect,
but I do not know internals perfectly too. Please take a look inside and tell
what else should be done / or redone - if it not yet done / or done incorrectly.
One new class introduced - attached.
Thanks,

[Patch][C2] TraxTransformer, Was: Caching of aggregated content
Posted by Vadim Gritsenko <vg...@hns.com>.
Giacomo,
While looking into this, I found that in generateKey(), TraxTransformer generates key regardless of
input parameters. It means, that for every request with different input parameter, cache would be
invalidated (because of CacheValidity object would be different). In multi user environment, help
of such cache is minimal (AFAI understood cache subsystem...).
Attached is a patch to include parameters info into key.
Let me know what you think about it.

Hmm.. not concrete yet. It would be nice if it would be cacheable.

Yes, can you supply a patch :)
