   It probably wouldn't be that bad, but the code for the dashboard filters is pretty all over the place. Considering https://github.com/apache/incubator-superset/issues/3617, I think the best solution, looking forward, is to rethink the dashboard filters a bit and rewrite a good amount of the code.
   
   I mean, the time options are 'hidden' inside `extra_filters` with `__` prepended and then pulled out later.
