Problem: Requested action not found
Hi,
I have a newbie question regarding turbine.
I am using velocity with jetspeed 1.4b3 and tomcat 4.1.18.
Here goes: my problem is calling an action from velocity.
Having the follwing in my .vm
<a href=$jslink.getAction( "HelloAction" )>Test</a>
I think i should be able to get a hold of the HelloAction.class (right).
But i get the follwing exception:
Horrible Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
Requested Action not found: HelloAction
Turbine looked in the following modules.packages path:
[org.apache.jetspeed.modules, dk.pg.portal.modules,
org.apache.turbine.modules]
What am I doing wrong.
Furthermore, how do I call a method (eg. doTest ) on the HelloAction?
Best regards Henrik

Hi,
Notice in all the replies, people were refencing you to use "setAction"
NOT "getAction" plus Jetspeed has ist own implementation of
TemplateLink, which is why their LinkPullTool is called $jslink and not
$link as in Turbine. So if you problem persists you should ask this
question on the jetspeed-user@jakarta.apache.org mailinglist.
Kind regards
