Release Date

Hello,
 
I know it has been asked before, but can we get a ballpark estimate as
to when log4net 1.2 will be released?  I know the project is in
incubation, but it's been over a year and a half now since we've seen an
update.  I'm starting to think this project is dead.
 
Having come from a J2EE background, I've been hoping to incorporate
Log4Net into our .NET projects like we've incorporated Log4J into our
Java projects, but my company will not allow any non-production builds
to be integrated into our systems.  I'm hesitant to use the 1.1 version
because SO much has changed and some of those changes have been clearly
marked as "breaking" changes.  I'd be afraid I'd have to go through all
of my code when 1.2 is finally released.
 
So please guys, is there any light at the end of the tunnel?
