[jira] [Created] (NIFI-1793) Allow Back Pressure to be set based on
repository usage
Mark Payne created NIFI-1793:
--------------------------------
Summary: Allow Back Pressure to be set based on repository usage
Key: NIFI-1793
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-1793
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Configuration, Core Framework, Core UI, Documentation & Website
Reporter: Mark Payne
It was brought up in the users mailing list that a nice feature to have would be to allow Back Pressure to be configured on a Connection based on how full the Content Repository is. For instance, we may want to apply Back Pressure so that we stop ingesting data from 'less important' sources once the repository is 65% full but allow data from more important, or more time-sensitive data to enter the flow until the repository is 90% full.
