mod_jk.so problem on BSD

Is anyone aware of the mod_jk.so problem for apache 1.3.20+ and tomcat
3.2.3+ on BSD platforms? I believe I'm pretty much stumped at this
point.

Hi Camron

is the error you're getting about undefined symbols, when Apache trys
to load the mod_jk.so library???

I am having this issue when trying to complile mod_jk.so from 3.3rc1
and 3.3rc2. The exact output of apache is:

su-2.05# apachectl start
Syntax error on line 237 of /usr/local/etc/apache/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/libexec/apache/mod_jk.so into server:
/usr/local/libexec/apache/mod_jk.so: Undefined symbol
"jk_set_log_format"
/usr/local/sbin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started

But I do have Tomcat 3.2.3 running OK and mod_jk.so in Apache is
talking to it just fine. We installed them both out of the FreeBSD
ports collection! Pretty cool.

What version of BSD are you running?

cheers

jesse
