Iteration and Validation question

hi all, 
I have a case where i iterate a list and create text
box for each iteration. I use the logic:iterate tag to
do this.

How can i use the standard validation xml to do
validation in this case.

Is it possible to use the standdard validation or will
i have to write my own validate method.
