Inter-portlet communication

Does anyone know if Pluto supports inter-portlet communication, and if so, 
in what regards?  Some other implementations of the JSR-168 framework 
support this by using MessageEvents, but I am not aware that Pluto does 
this.

Pluto is the RI of the JSR-168, and the inter-portlet communication is a 
feature for a future version of the spec (see PLT.E, page 123)
I think Pluto will support this feature as soon as it is described in 
the spec.
