> WS Messenger has been serving Airavata (and its pre-apache software) over a decade. The standards and the architecture has been pretty scalable and robust but its probably now lived its life. Messaging frameworks has emerged a lot in past few years and technologies based on AMQP, ZeroMQ like protocols and implementations of RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka have far more superior capabilities.
> Evaluating the applicability of these technologies to Airavata will be a good project.
