svn commit times out
Hi,
I have recently migrated to Subversion from CVS and I am having some
issues.
My server environment - RH Fedora Core 5 with Subversion 1.3.2 and
Apache 2 with WebDAV.
I created a directory and a test repository. I imported some
directories and files.
I then checked out the repository with my Powerbook. That worked fine.
I made some changes to the files and tried to commit them using the
following command:
# svn commit Misc -m "Committing Misc directory"
The operation times out and I get the error:
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Can't connect to host '10.0.0.15': Operation timed out
The repository is located at:
https://10.0.0.15:8081/repos/HL2Ed
I have set the permissions for the repository and all files to 0777 and
the ownership of all the files to the user running Apache.
I see no error messages on in the Apache logs.
The firewall on the 10.0.0.15 host has UDP and TCP open on port 8081 and
I can telnet to that port from the Powerbook (the firewall on the
Powerbook is disabled).
Any one have any ideas?
Thanks
James Turnbull
