Sending raw text or a URL results in:
Problem accessing /contenthub. Reason:
INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR
I can add content via command line on my local version (not working on IKS hosted version) but it's not possible to access the metadata of that contenthub item (curl or web).

It's working in the latest SVN version of Stanbol -- occured in the IKS RI 5.2 release.
