rotatelogs behaves for me exactly as described in the documentation, in the
situation described. Lee Engel <le...@kode.co.za> has not responded to my request
for further elaboration. (Contacted via this bug, and also via personal email.)
I'm inclined to go ahead and close the bug unless and until we hear back from
Lee Engel.
