Recording video import/convert issues

Greetings.

It seems I'm running into bit of a trouble here. I am not able to import
the .avi file from a session record, into any video editing software.
I've tried so far various tools, including Adobe Premiere, Pinnacle
Studio, Lightworks, etc. All are unable to read the file, both .avi and
.flv format.
Yes, I am a Windows user (flame on!). Do you have any suggestions as to
what I should use to convert the recording file, to be able to import it
afterwords?

Regards, Bogdan

Turns out a newer version of any video converter solved it.
Thanks!

Re: Recording video import/convert issues

Hi.
The recording is playable in OM and via VLC player only on a Windows
machine, and it shows what's supposed to show. My issue is that I can
not use the recording with anything other than VLC.

[root@wavmc6 ~]# ffmpeg -version
ffmpeg version 1.1.1
built on Dec 3 2013 08:51:06 with gcc 4.4.7 (GCC) 20120313 (Red Hat
4.4.7-4)
configuration: --libdir=/usr/lib --bindir=/usr/bin --enable-libmp3lame
--disable-yasm
libavutil 52. 13.100 / 52. 13.100
libavcodec 54. 86.100 / 54. 86.100
libavformat 54. 59.106 / 54. 59.106
libavdevice 54. 3.102 / 54. 3.102
libavfilter 3. 32.100 / 3. 32.100
libswscale 2. 1.103 / 2. 1.103
libswresample 0. 17.102 / 0. 17.102

OM version: 2.1.1-RELEASE 1498907 2-July-2013
DB doesn't seem to have any errors reported related to that specific
recording file.

Regards, Bogdan

I'm afraid more details are required:
1) OM version
2) ffmpeg version
3) are there any errors (flvrecording_log DB table)
